The Earth Is Flat … and nobody understands how the eye works

"Researcher in Astronomy:" … "When you stand on the beach and look into the distance, everything you see is in the visible distance. In the blurred distance, you cannot see a thing. Later on as the ship gets closer to the shore or the harbor, you see the upper part. How do you see it? The eye, as I have said, no doctor has succeeded in understanding how the eye works." *sound of Lynch’s head exploding*

  1. Anything that has no indication in the Koran is false.

Let’s see… Eyeglasses aren’t in the Koran. Neither are wristwatches. No microphones. No video cameras. No televisions. Et cetera. Et cetera.

  2. What a surreal experience. It’s like watching kindergartners debate, but with the semblance of adults.

  3. Thank you for finding this. I’ll enjoy greatly showing it to all the ‘religious right’ types I know here in the US…

  4. How can this be in any way a reasonable subject for debate? It’s truly sad how far the Islamic world has fallen since the Reconquista…

  5. The printing press has no indication in the Koran, so that anything printed is false. The Koran, for example.
    Babble-babble-babble. Ooo, I wet meself!

  6. as I have said, no doctor has succeeded in understanding how the eye works.
Well, that could just be the usual scientists’ dissing of doctors, saying that optics is a little over their heads…
