    A graceful flyer. I’ve watched juvenile turkey vultures play “tag” in the sky and it’s an amazing sight.

    You left out the story of how turkey vultures return to Hinkley Lake (Ohio) every March 15th, much like their more famous (and likeable) kin do in Capistrano.

    The most noble and plentiful North American vulture, this fabulous bird inhabits an essential niche in our ecosystem. We at “The Gods Are Bored” have rarely seen a finer photograph of the Sacred Thunderbird.
