A one-of-a-kind Pat Robertson voodoo doll is being auctioned on E-bay. Bidding started at 99c yesterday and is now up to $750 with all proceeds going to the Red Cross. Gotta love it. Bidding ends on January 26th. How long before we see a Rush Limbaugh version?

WTF! Suddenly, the auction isn’t on eBay anymore. The message says it was removed or is no longer available. 😦

That makes me sad. I wonder if it was removed because of a policy violation or complaints.

Strange. It was there 30 minutes ago (bidding was at $1200).

Yeah. I had just blogged about it (those pingbacks are from me) and then I went to look at it again so I could put it on Facebook, too, and it was gone.

I sent a message to johnnyvoodoo asking what happened. I’ll post his answer here (if I get one).

Update! The auction is back, but at a new URL.

Evidently, the Red Cross didn’t want to be associated with the auction and asked eBay to remove it. Auction proceeds will now benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Pat Robertson Voodoo Doll has been relisted on eBay again. Ironically, eBay took it down again because it could not be verified that Pat Robertson’s soul actually exists. Here’s the new eBay link. It’s over $670 again!
